The cost of food, pet care and pet vet have risen by 4% during the last few months, and consumer reports say that pet owners should shop around to find a pet vet who is ready to charge less for regular routine checkups. The reports say that even during the darkest hours of recession, American's did not decrease the amount they spent on pet sitters and pet vet.
